Your day to day

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Finance Team Member to support our hotel finance teams, reporting to our Financial Controller, the Finance Team Member has responsibility for supporting the financial management of the voco Reading and for assisting in delivering on the Hotels financial strategy. Our Finance Team Member work closely with the operations and non-operations teams.

Finance Team Member key responsibilities include:

· Accounts Receivable – dealing with daily AR billing & query resolution. Providing support in Debt Chasing where required.

· Income Audit - Complete Daily Income Audit as per Checklist, resolving imbalances directly with Hotel Team members & identifying and raising significant audit discrepancies with the Financial Controller & senior management.

· Petty Cash management

· Other responsibilities as designated by the Financial Controller to ensure timely production of accounts & complying with Statutory and CSA Audit requirements.

Experience

Given the nature of this role it’s important that you have experience working in a finance role in a hotel or hospitality environment and hold an accounting qualification preferred or applicable work experience.

· With previous experience of working within a team environment

· Knowledge of Accounts Payable; Accounts Receivable; Income Audit, ideally within a hospitality environment - Preferred but not essential

· Demonstrates relevant functional experience and good knowledge of relevant topics
