MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

  • Provideaccurateandtimelytechnicalinformation,advice,andassistanceregardingtheorganization'sproductsandservicesbefore,during,andafteratransactiontomaintainandimprovetheorganization'scustomerrelationships.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicatewithcustomersandclients(viaemail,phone,oronlinediscussionboards)toanswertheirenquiries,understandtheirtechnicalquestion,assesstheirneeds,andsuggestorpromotealternativeproductsorservices(forexampleIThardwareandsoftwareproducts,financialservices,healthservices).

  • Applyestablishedproceduresordevelopnewsolutionstosolvetechnicalproblemsthroughcasemanagementandfollow-uponthestatusofoutstandingcases.

  • Usedatabasesorothercomputerizedsystemstomaintainup-to-datecustomerrecords,totrackthevolume,contentandoutcomesofenquiriesreceived,andtoaccessinformation,checklists,scripts,guidelines,andothermaterialsforrespondingtothecustomer’senquiry.
