Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Anesthesia Technician for Anesthesiology department at Morristown Medical Center to work 3pm-11pm including on-call and rotating weekends every 8-10 weeks.

Essential Function/Responsibilities:

• Perform duties under direct supervision of a licensed anesthesia provider.

• Provides support for routine surgical cases by assisting in the preparation and maintenance of patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems before, during and after anesthesia.

• Performs first level maintenance on anesthesia equipment.

• Clean, sterilize, disinfects, stocks, orders and maintains the routine anesthesia equipment and supplies.

  Minimum Education:

• High School diploma or GED

• Graduate from an approved ASATT school preferred

  Minimum Experience:

• 2 years of healthcare experience

  License/Certification:

• American Heart Association CPR certification required

• Certification from American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologist school preferred
