Description

Robert Half is currently recruiting for an expanding construction company in Fort Myers that is looking for an Accounting Manager. This role primarily involves managing day-to-day accounting functions, overseeing the accounts payables and accounts receivables processes, job costing, and creating financial reports for management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable to maintain financial stability

• Coordinate payroll processes for a sizable team, leveraging QuickBooks for automated functions

• Prepare comprehensive financial reports for stakeholders and liaise with an external CPA as needed

• Handle the initiation and documentation of notices to owners and lien releases

• Collaborate with a small team, assisting with administrative duties as they arise

• Utilize various accounting software systems and ERP solutions to optimize work processes

• Oversee auditing processes and manage billing functions

• Enter invoices, dispatch lien releases, and manage data entry

• Address and resolve any emerging issues promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Proficient in QuickBooks and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

• 5+ years of experience as an Accountant or Accounting Manager

• 3+ years of construction experience
