About the Job

The role of the Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager is to develop and grow SDR skillsets while achieving the opportunity metrics set forth for their vertical.

You should have a passion for hands-on, “in the weeds” coaching and management. As the SDR Manager you will help all members of your team’s vertical strategize the best way to target accounts and develop new sales opportunities. You should be performance

driven and a creative thinker, who typically relies on data to start to tell the story, but

utilizes strategy and out-of-the-box thinking to create overperformance. You will provide the

team with training and coaching to overachieve their quota and help improve outreach

strategies for the SDR program as a whole.

What you will do:

• Lead and support a rapidly growing team of SDRs through 1:1 and structured

training/workshop experiences

• Oversee day-to-day activity of all SDR team members and monitor performance

goals while providing ongoing feedback, coaching, and guidance

• Ensure leads are being qualified and moved through the sales cycle efficiently

• Work with team to ensure a smooth SDR to Account Executive process

• Track SDR team metrics and report data to leadership on a regular basis

• Partner with sales leadership to ensure the SDR team is meeting pipeline

expectations

• Support SDR team growth by developing and/or maintaining content for

onboarding, training, scripts, and playbooks

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize lead generation,

qualification and handoff processes.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with other vertical SDR managers

The pay range for this position is $88,000-119,000 and the annual commission target is 40-50% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.

This role is a hybrid opportunity that does require an onsite presence a minimum of 3 workdays per week in Cary, NC.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 4+ years of high-performance inside sales experience

  • 5+ years of experience in outbound sales development, including 2+ years of Sales leadership/management experience

  • Proven Track record of driving outbound sales initiatives and achieving sales targets

  • Experience building entry-level individual contributors and preparing them for higher-level sales roles through programs and initiatives in addition to on-the-spot coaching

  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills with a focus on developing high performing teams.

  • Knowledge of SaaS and/or subscription-based business sales models

  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting using Salesforce and other sales prospecting tools

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience

  • Proven consultative sales solution skills, including the ability to articulate a clear, concise return on investment

  • A proven ability to identify sales opportunities through advanced consultative selling – unlocking multiple product opportunities, professional services opportunities
