The ADAS Requirements Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all requirements related to Short Range Radar Systems are accurately documented, traceable, and completed within project schedules. This will involve breaking down high-level requirements into lower-level subsystem requirements and designs, leading review sessions with each discipline, identifying gaps in requirements, and determining undefined or missing requirements to discipline leads and stakeholders. The ADAS Requirements Engineer will support the product development lifecycle until releasing the product to the customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all requirements are accurately documented and traceable.

  • Break down high-level requirements (L1, L2, L3, etc.) into lower level-subsystem requirements and designs.

  • Lead review sessions with each discipline and capturing gaps in requirements.

  • Determine undefined or missing requirements to discipline leads / stakeholders.

  • Manage completion of requirements according to a project schedule.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Software Engineering or related field

  • 3+ years of engineering experience developing electronic automotive components or systems

  • Familiarity with requirements management systems (PTC, DOORS, Integrity, etc.)

  • Experience with ADAS components (preferably short range radar or SRR)

  • Good understanding of communication networks (CAN/CAN-EF/Ethernet, etc.)

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills

  • Understanding of ASPICE, ISO26262
