Leidos is seeking a talented Software Engineer in Ann Arbor, Michigan to support the creation of novel remote sensing applications for UAVs!

As a member of a small development team, you will have the opportunity to make significant contributions to multiple components of the software ecosystem. Primary Responsibilities

• Working with teams on the research, design, and development of sensor exploitation systems including signal processing, sensor exploitation, automatic target recognition, and signature modeling.

• Collaborating with our customers to address challenging mission requirements by researching and developing new capabilities as well as making improvements to existing systems.

• Rapidly and iteratively implement new algorithms to address these challenges.

• Provide technical leadership for tasks and programs

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years or Master's degree with 2+ years of experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineer, Physics, or Applied Mathematics.

• Strong programming ability in C/C++ for Linux enviroments

• Knowledge of code configuration control

• Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to coworkers, teammates, and customers.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

• US Citizenship Required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience extracting information from LIDAR data

• Experience with SQL and RDMS

• Experience with real time software development

• Experience with OpenGL/CUDA development

• Experience developing computer vision applications

• Experience with automatic target recognition technologies and concepts

• Experience processing radar/SAR image data

• Experience with machine learning techniques applied to sensor data exploitation

• Experience with multi-sensor data fusion

Pay Range:

Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00
